We had a great 73 Mile Ride into Falls of Rough. Last night there were 6 of us at the cyclists hostel in Sebree.
We traded "best of" stories. Everyone had great hail/lightening stories.
Clay had the 'longest ride'. He had done a double century. 100 mi during the day and another 100 mi that night just because he could.
Julia had the 'longest ride'. She did 1000 mi around BC before she started the Trans Am.
Kendal had the 'best animal'. A bear came in her panniers.
We could not compete with those stories. We did discover that we were 'the cleanest'. They could not believe that we had never gone more than one day with out a shower.
Some of these kids go a week or more and are proud of it!
