Royal Gorge to Pueblo and a day off...60 miles
Out of the altitude and into the heat. It has been over 90 on both days. Had a nice rest day. Cleaned up the bikes, tightened screws, oiled chains, visited the bike store, pumped up our tires, toured the old town on Pueblo and tried to find the River Walk bike path. We got our first flat on a grocerie store run!! Frank was able to fix it sitting in a chair, in the shade, outside the motel room. Luckeee...Discovered that the makeup remover pads you get at motels are great for taking the grease off your bike and hands. Makes me nervous to think what they would do to your face...
