Thank you

Thank you to all of you. Family, friends, friends of family and strangers.
Your support through email and comments was greatly appreciated when we were out in the middle of nowhere.
We are done. 4220 miles. Frank did 4280 as he did the little piece to Florence.
It was amazing. We are a little at a loss as to how to fill our days. We woke up this morning at 6 ready for a bowl of oatmeal!!
The comraderie from other "road warriors" will be missed and when we get home we will track them down to see how the end of their trips played out.
It was weird coming into Yorktown. In our previous experience with completing events there has always been some sort of hoopla ...lots of people around, food, bands. We rode into Yorktown and to the Victory tower with no one around. We snagged some total stranger to take our picture. It seemed unnaturally low key. But then we went and had a beer and all was right in the world!!
Dan picked us up yesterday and we will spend almost a week with his family. Box up the bikes, wash clothes, buy clothes and sort my photos. I will do a photo book of the trip of course with an outside chance of it being done for the "Party in Poulsbo"
We feel lucky that we completed this trip without a major mishap. The weather in the areas we rode through was cooler than usual, drivers were mostly considerate and we only had one flat tire between the two of us.
Thank you again for your greatly appreciated support and encouragement.
